iBook 400 and RAM Question

This may be a silly question but I am not sure.

I have a 400 mhz white iBook and currently have a 128MB and a 256MB RAM chip in it. I realize that it can hold a 128 and a 512 for a total of 640 MB, but can it hold 2 - 256MB chips?

You have only one slot that you can access. The other slot is hidden. It is also probably a smaller size Ram that you won't be able to acquire.
