Hi, I have a an iBook G3 (dual USB) laptop (700MHz, I believe).
I tried using Internet phone software, and was surprised to find out that my microphone isn't working as well as it used to. I could not get it to record my voice, unless I spoke directly in front of it. I have set the 'input volume' to the highest level (using "Sound" on the System Preferences, and so I get a lot of background noise, but only barely does my voice record.
I am using Mac OS 10.3.9. Any ideas as to what may be causing the problem?
Thanks VERY much for your time and help!
Tony
