i do not use the computer that frequently but recently whenever i try to play dvds on it it will not accept the disk and ejects it immediately with approximately the following message
disc could not be read disc drive not supported error code 0x80020025
after looking on the net this seems to be a not unencountered problem suggested solutions including resetting p-ram (done no change) and installing patchburner
this has changed the error code to 0x80020043 which relates to a failed attempt to burn a disc even though i am simply inserted a dvd from the video store
this has occurred on a number of discs that even work on my £20 dvd player connectted to the tv so the problem it would seem does not relate to the media
any suggestions / fixes that you could recommend would be greatly appreciated
