A few days ago my system crashed; I couldn't repair it with Disk Utility or TechTool so I ended up erasing and reinstalling the OS. Then I booted from the Apple Hardware Test disk and ran the tests. The short version said all was well, but the longer version gave me this error:
2STF/8/3: ATA100 ata-6-a Master
This doesn't mean much to me -- do I need to replace the hard drive? We aren't under warranty anymore, nor do we have AppleCare.
