I just started my iBook G4 and it does not boot up. I can just here the fan running at full throttle and nothing shows on the screen. I have tried removing the battery, resetting the PRAM/NVRAM and nothing changes. I was finally able to get it to give the startup chime but when I tired running the hardware diag from the restore CD it just cycles through different colors on the screen then the screen shuts off but the unit is still on. What could be the cost and how much is it going to cost me to repair?
