-around how much could i get if i sold this laptop and is my only or best option ebay? also does an apple store only offer the 10% trade in or would they give me a deal? thanks for the help.

I see refurbished units for $830. Assuming yours is in very good condition, I would say, maybe $700 or $750. Knowing eBay auctions, I wouldn't be incredibly surprised if someone didn't bid more than a new unit at $999!

You could set your reserve at $700 or so to make sure you get at least that much. Just my take on it.

Okay, to fix my last post, $999 would be a new 12 inch iBook, not 14 inch.

I guess I would have to revise my previous estimate up a bit to an $800 or 850 reserve.

If it won't sell at that price, you can always resubmit it with a lower reserve.

You can also just search the compleated auctions and see what they are going for. Right now it looks like your model is going for $950 +- $75 of course there are outliers.

Good Luck!
