Hi, my ibook G3 can't find its internal modem...
i've had no trouble before...
the only thing that has changed is my wife installed some new software for school...lesson planning, teaching stuff... she didn't use the modem during any part of the installation.
we have slow dial up with aol but the connection process doesn't get very far...
in AOL for OSX it gives an error saying that it can't find the modem and to check settings...
on the screen to change modem settings the modem port is greyed out and i can't access it to change anything...
would reinstalling OSX help?
is the modem shot, if it can't even be found?
