Hi MACOSX folks!
I have come across a curious problem with my iBook. I hadn't used the TV adapter in about a month and decided to watch a DVD on the TV only to discover that the iBook mistakenly identified the TV adapter as the VGA adapter. I tried rebooting and repairing the permissions on the drive but to no avail. When plugging in the VGA adapter it was detected correctly.
Has anyone experienced the same problem? Any idea how to fix it? My next step would be to do an archive and install of the OS but I will have to free up some space on the disk and would prefer not to do that.
No one at the local Apple reseller had any idea and I don't fancy waiting on hold for an hour with the support line (just to be told to re-format or hand over my baby to a heavy handed staticly charged screwdriver monkey).
Please help!!!
