You won't get more screen space with the 14" though, just a bigger screen.

Correct. Same resolution...larger screen area. Thus, a 32x32 icon on a 14" 1024x768 screen will appear to be larger than on a 12" 1024x768 screen.

Hey there!

Just got myself yet another PowerBook G4--the Gigahertz PowerBook G4. The 500MHz was nice, and the new 1GHz is even nicer.

I would suggest you to invest yourself a 1GHz TiBook as well.

Apple is selling refurbished ones for $1999 at its online Apple Store.

Or you can wait until Apple upgrade the new PowerBooks, or the iBook line to G4 processors.

Just my 2 cents.

The Powerbooks were just upgraded, in the Expo ... last month.

I have an iBook, and I-ve been really happy with it. But after these newer Powerbooks, I'll eventually change. I need more power for graphics, and a bigger hard drive as it will be my main machine.
