iBook wireless network problems

Every time I open my 500mhz iBook every computer and my IP phone lose their internet connection. I used to use a Cisco 340 wireless hub with in conjunction with a SMC Barricade switch/firewall. Guessing that was the problem I bought a linksys wireless-switch-firewall unit to replace the other two pieces of hardware. It hasn't helped. The computers will eventually come back online if I wait long enough (20 minutes?) or if I power cycle the switch.

What is the problem with this iBook? Why is it that waking it up takes down my network?
 
Is your iBook set to DHCP with NO manual settings whatsoever? Are ALL of your network server services shutoff (for testing purposes)? Is your iBook 802.11b and all of your other computers are 802.11g and your router is not set to accept both types of network connections? Have you upgraded the Linksys firmware to its latest revision?
