iCal and birthdays

I now have two of each birthday on my iCal and cannot figure out how to delete one without deleting them both.

Can you not just select one and hit delete? Or are you wanting to do it in one batch? Do you have two calendars named "Birthday"? If so, you can just delete one of them. If this does not answer your question, please post back with more information as to exactly what you are trying to do, and what has not worked for you.

Maybe you have the show birthdays from Address Book feature turned on. So in addition to having the birthdays you manually entered you have those as well?
