I created and iCal event, and set an email alert so that it would email me at 8am the morning of the event. It did... and then continued to email me throughout the day, and continued for the whole week! So far I've received about 30 emails regarding this event. How can I make the emails stop? I've tried going into the event and changing the Alert from "Email" to "none" - but if I restart my computer it reappears! I also had an alert pop up on my computer, and those kept showing up all day even after I canceled them - luckily those have finally stopped.
Sorry if this is a stupid questions, it's my first time using iCal alerts so maybe there's something simple i'm missing. Also, I'm using Lion, in case that matters. Thank you!
