Does anybody know how or have a work around to allow iCal users to post events/to do lists on each other's calendars?

I am using ical at work between two users. We want to be able to edit each other's calendar events and/or create a "shared" calendar. I can't find any way to do this.

For example, sometimes I may want to create a To Do item for my co-worker, but I don't need it on my calendar. Likewise, he may wan tto set me up with a meeting on my calendar, but not on his.

Any thoughts?

iCal is very cool and friendly, but a little short on multi-user features right now.
