iCal won't open

MY ICAL USED TO WORK-I TRIED TO OPEN IT YESTERDAY AND IT'S LIKE IT DOESN'T KNOW IT'S THERE. I reinstalled it from the tiger disk #2 and it still acts the same. i know it's there because i used get info and it shows the memory etc. is there. i've ran all utility repairs-permissions etc. have mac g4 1 ghz-1.5 gig memory and mac osx.4.7. it did the same thing and 10.4.6.
downloaded from apple and still the same. there must be some setting i'm missing that won't let me open it. ??????????????????????????????//

I Found The Problem!-using Disk #2 Of Tiger Install Has Only Part Of Ical On It. I Ran Disk #4 And Installed The Ical On It And Now All Is Well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
