I use iChat for my AIM messaging. Everything was working fine, but all of a sudden i've noticed this problem. Everytime I open up iChat, it displays who's online and who's away, but for the people who are away, it won't display most away messages, all it says is that they're away. The only way to fix it is to delete their name and then re-add it back to my buddy list, but whenever I close iChat or go offline, this problem occurs again. But when somebody comes back from being away then goes back to away, it then displays their away message. I tried re-installing iChat and deleting the prefrences, but I can't fix it. Does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks.
