iChat interface

i installed aquachat av from the mac addict cd rom and i get an error msg and am unable to view my buddy lists, even after going through the uninstall option for the program. i also deleted all of my ichat related prefs. and restarted several times to no avail. i also have the problem with other windows such as ichat prefs. but this is not every time.
any suggestions on what i can do.
error msg is:
NSInvalidArgumentException:
*** -[NSObject numberOfRowsInTableView:]: selector not recognized [self = 0x452e50]

Sounds as if it's not compatible with your OS. And your shift key isn't working.
