Ichat Quitting

Hello.

I have OSX 10.4 and when I use ichat and leave my computer for 10 minutes or so (even if I have an away message up) I get the message "ichat has unexpectedly quit." What can I do to prevent it from quitting all the time?

the same thing happened to me but nobody in the forum could help!!!

at first i thought it was a firewall issue but after trying everything i couldnt work it out!!

i installed os 10.4 over 10.3 so maybe thats an issue, so i backed everything up with a firewire external drive and formatted and made a clean install with 10.4 and it works!!

maybe someone has a not so drastic solution.
