iChat w/ iSight "not accepting"

I'm trying to video chat with my grandparents who just got a new iMac G5 (w/ built in iSight). problem is, whenever either of us sends a video chat request to the other, and we accept, it will say "Starting Video Chat" for a few seconds, and then return the message, "Failed because:[my name/their name] did not accept invitation."

[my name/their name] shows my name on my screen, and their name on their screen. I assume there's some router config that needs to be changed, but I'm not sure.

Can anyone help me? Just want to know what may be tripping this up for us.
