well, I have a problem that could be simple and unrelated to recent events, or could end up being another trip to the genius bar.. and since this is a long story, i'll CAPS anything important
what is happening is when i attempt to communicate (video chat, start a text conversation etc.) ON ICHAT, IT FREEZES UP and i get a spinning rainbow circle, and I can't click anywhere on that window, or its application toolbar thingy at the top. How it started is when I was INSTALLING A PROGRAM (world of warcraft, burning crusade, if you must know) while videochatting, and my computer dies, just shuts off. I had been experiencing these shut-downs while attempting to install wow, but I though I'd give it another shot, and opened a videochat while i was waiting. well, when i turned my computer back on, everything loaded nicely, everything was present and more or less in order when i got to my desktop. Except, when I went to apologize for leaving the videochat, MY ICHAT FREEZES WHEN I OPEN ANY COMMUNICATIONS, text chat, videochat, audio too.
What makes this more complex is that I just had taken in my computer for repairs because my harddrive had been screwed up after my computer took a tumble. Well, i got my new hard drive and lo and behold, those sweet, sweet souls there had INSTALLED LEOPARD for free (under warranty) as a plus (i had been on tiger). I'm wondering if the ichat and the Wow installation problems have to do with this new hard-drive and leopard? Or is it unrelated? Sorry about the length of this tale, but..
And feel free to ask me to clarify, or add details about software/hardwares.
