iCloud full message, shows 5gb, on a family plan it doesn't see

I'm getting messages to upgrade (read, spend more money) for iCloud+. We have two phones. The family plan is 200-gb. I'm getting a message suddenly now, this month, I'm full at 5gb. But wait. I'm on my partner's family plan supposedly.
Update: Found that when we updated the latest software, it turned off the iCloud storage sharing. Name>Family sharing>icloud+ and Fixed. Found this by googling "iCloud+ family plan not working"
