Icons and AppleWorks

Hello,

I've been trying to use AppleWorks paint program to make icons that I can copy then paste to a file or folder. It works fine, except I cannot get a transparent background - all my images are rectangular. Even if I "lasoo" grap the image.

Anybody got a solution?

Get iconographer X from versiontracker. then copy and past into it, and export as an icon.

Good stuff, thanks.

I found it at
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/11842&vid=47924

When I reduce the size enough it fits into Icongrapher, but there is something wacky with the colours. It seems to be using a different palette. I'll play around with it a while later to see if I can figure it out.

I'm not actually drawing my own icons, but rather I'm (mostly) trying to take images from the MS Office Suite for OSX and use some of the Cliparts as icons - that's why I have to change the size for Icongrapher (good thing about Finder is that it automatically resizes the image when you paste it in the 'Get Info' icon space). Man I love this OS.
