I recently had a power surge (or something) that threw my Gigabit Ethernet G4 for a loop. After reinstalling firmware all over the machine, everything works - except for the connection between my Seritek 1S2 SATA card and the IDE drive it was connected to. On the internal bus the drive works fine, and the 1S2 shows up in System Profiler. The only things I wonder about are the Addonics IDE-SATA converter attached to the drive and/or the converter's power cable. Anyone have any ideas on resurrecting this thing? I'm on Tiger btw.
