Hi,
I just had comcast cable internet installed today. I'm trying to connect to IRC through efnet with snak 4.1.3 but I get this message:
Looking up your hostname...
Checking Ident
Found your hostname
No Ident response
Banned: please install identd to use this server. (2005/06/06 03.09)
I'm on a QS 867, 10.2.8, identd is enabled with the identctl app that comes with snak. I'm using a D-Link DI-604 router that was set up per this D-Link support page: http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=1337&question=port+fowarding+mIRC#604
I had comcast cable internet months ago and I was able to access IRC through the same router, modem and software with no special setup....@#%$&?! What gives? Any ideas? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.
