iDisk utility cannot connect to required iDisk server...

This message comes after several minutes waiting at spinning beach ball.


I have reinstalled iDisk Utility but I still get the message. My internet settings are correct and I can mount my iDisk just fine from the finder....what is the problem?
 
The program gives the same result on both my iMacs even though they both have different versions of OS X....I am beginning to suspect something stupid (on the part of Apple) like not working through a proxy server....which I have to use on my ISP....

There seems to be a shortage of ideas from anybody else:confused:
