iDisk

I have DSL, how can I get 2 things: 1 my internet to automatically connect the moment I turn on the computer, 2 my iDisk to appear the second the internet has been activated

1. It should do this automatically, if your computer is functioning properly and your Network preferences are configured correctly.
2. Write an AppleScript, and put it in /Library/StartupItems.

Zaff - try using date and time prefs to set up network server time settings. this should connect you immediately and keep your time perfect.

all right, thanks ed this connects me and according to my specially set network time it is 5:06:41 . Thanks for the help. Genghis Khan, your trick gets my iDisk up.. but after all that work, i've decided that the iDisk sucks because a. I don't want to pay $1000 per year for a reasonable amount of space and b. I suppose due to the insanly slow apple servers, it takes more than 1 minute just to open it... lol thanks anyways guys.
