Hi there,
I am using (or trying to use)iDVD 5 to burn a DVD I have put together. It's a massive file - perhaps 7 or 8 GB so I'm using a blank Double Layer DVD.
I waited until the original encoding was done in iDVD's status menu before starting to burn and it got down to the burn stage pretty quickly....that was now 26 hours ago, and it is still burning - it says "Current operation: Retrieving and preparing project".
Now I've burned DVDs this way before but never of this size and although it hasn't technically frozen up and seems fairly healthy (not too hot, etc) 26 hours is 26 hours and it seems like a really long time.
What should I do? Do I let it keep going to only find that it's still in the exact same place this time tomorrow? Or do I give up and let my poor mac have a rest?
Conundrum...
