idvd error -34506

I can't burn this movie. I've archived it from an ibook with idvd 4.0.1 to and brand new g5 dual intel machine.

I get error -34506 before the burn process whn trying to burn a disc image. I was able to preview this whole movie with no problems after archiving to the G5.

I've canceled the burn progress dialog that displayed the error and no hove just the idvd window up with the burn icon spinning and no spinning rainbow/beachball. What's it doing?

I had previously gotten farther, a least into the burning process, when I changed the theme to an iDVD 6 HD theme but it crashed while burning and now I'm starting over.

This is very frustrating. All I'm trying to do is burn this movie. It was made in iDVD4 on my ibook but my iBook doesn't have a DVD burning drive so I moved it to the G5 thinking it would be a slam/dunk. Silly me.

Is there an help for me?
 
This problem was resolved by Joe at my local Apple store's genius bar. He had me SHARE the movie as a Quicktime High Quality DV file which I then could open in iMovie on my iMac, add chapters and themes in iDVD and burn both disk image and DVDs - no problemo. Whole process took less than 2 hours - good quality too. Hope this helps someone else. Cheers!
 
I created .mov files first and then the iDVD project. But still at the end of the saving as '.img' the process stopped mentioning the error '34506'.
I already have thrown away the .plist file

Mac OSX.4.6 iDVD5.0.1

Does anyone have other suggestions?
