iDVD free ?

I know that the other "i"-apps are free and like Jobs said in MacWorld that iDVD is to big to put on their servers. Therefore I wondered, is it legal to burn the iDVD 3 app to another DVD with a DVD-burner like SuperDrive, if I know of someone who have bought it ?

It depends; read the license agreement.

I ordered iLife some time ago - it's en route now. When I get it, I'll take a look for myself.

I think it's free. But it's not available to download off apple because it's so big. So they sell you iLife to cover the costs of the packaging.

It's kind of a grey zone i think.

But if it was free couldn't i go to an apple store and burn myself a copy? Ohh now theres an idea.

iLife is: iTunes 3, iPhoto 2, iMovie 3 and iDVD 3 bundeled in a box for $50 (whitch seems to be the lowest that apple sells anything for)
