My Internet Explorer 5.1 feels like a throwback to version 3 in terms of compatibility and support for features.
Most recently I've discovered that my IE does not support external css stylesheets, and its lackluster <span style="border: solid black 1 px">table support</span> is reminiscent of Netscape. Can anyone provide a counter-example? Maybe it's just me...
