I'm running OS X 10.1.4 and am using IE 5.1.4. Is there any way to deactivate drop-down menu fading feature that occurs after you select something from a drop-down menu? It wastes a good two seconds or so when you select something on a drop-down menu and it fades out. This is probably because I'm running a PB Pismo 400mHz, although I do have 384MB ram and don't generally run many applications at the same time.
If there is some way that I can tweak it to fade out quicker, or better still to simply disappear immediately, then I would have faster browsing.
I'm pretty sure that the OS 9 version allows you to activate/deactivate this feature, but I can't find anything that will allow me to do the same for the OSX version. Help! Regards, Zeal
