IE webpage issue

iAussie
I am working on a little webpage and Iam using tables. basic stuff.
I have a small nav/links bar across the top with an image as a background in the table cell. This views fine in all browsers except Microcrap IE on both mac and PC. unfortunately I want to build it to work in IE too. I know I can make them buttons in Photoshop but it just takes more images to create. (if you know what i mean)

The website in question
www.sturtlacrosse.i8.com

The grey bar behind the nav bar/links is the issue.
it looks great in Firefox, Safari etc. but it doesn't appear in IE.

Is there away around this???

Any other advice criticisms welcome. It is early days for the site.

As per the attached ['Explorerer01.jpg'] snap shot, the 'mall nav/links [Home' ... 'Contacts' - barhar] bar across the top with an image as a background in the table cell' (as well as the balance of the web page) looks fine on my copy of Internet Explorer.

An excellent find, and I hope the web page's suggestions provide you with the desired results.

Odd however, that others may see the web page properly (with 'Internet Explorer') - as it currently is.
