A forum search for iLife AND 5.0 AND upgrade yielded a lot of messages but a cursory search from there didn't reveal answer; apologies if it was there and I missed it. Searching around on the Apple website was unproductive.
I'm a paid user of properly installed iLife 5.0 with purchase receipt and master CD. Tried to upgrade each application to the appropriate iLife 6.0; an error like this was returned with each try:
"You cannot install iDVD Update on this volume. An eligible iDVD application was not found in the location /Applications/iDVD.app"
Does Apple expect an upgrade fee, or is there some other reason the upgrade attempt fails?
Any info will be most appreciated.
