Illustrator CS "unexpectedly quits" in Tiger

You should consider upgrading to 10.4.4. There are fixes to known bugs in there, and I think Illustrator CS/CS2 made that bug list…not 100% sure.

It worked! I was having the same issue: Illustrator CS kept quitting at start-up. I tried every imaginable font fix listed in previous threads, but this worked like a charm. Thank you,
