imac 10.5.6 Skipping between applications?

Hi, hope somebody can help.

When i have more than one or more application open, after a while it will keep skipping back and forth between them, and zooming in and out so you can see a smaller version of them all so they fit into the screen.

If anyone can understand what i'm on about, i'd be really grateful for any help.

I think you are triggering exposé, which may be a mouse setting, or a keyboard shortcut that you are inadvertently using.
Open System Preferences, then Exposé & Spaces, and check to see what settings you have for Exposé. If you don't want that to happen, change the All Windows setting to some other shortcut.
Another place to check would be your Mouse settings, to make sure that you don't have a mouse button that triggers Exposé.
 
Thanks for the reply, i just turned off the double side button on the mouse, it's far too sensitive.
