This strange and bizarr event accurd to me and a good friend of mine, when installing MacOS X !!
After buying new memory for my iMac 333/ and memory for the G4
and later upgrading to MacOS X,
The computers dont wanna start up any more not even a sound our a flashing singn of the startup disk cannot be found????
Only the noise of the ventilator can be hearth
In pannic i thinked carefully for a sollution and starting to build my iMac out of his shell and removed the memmory( only the orginal
Apple memory let i sit)
And then the iMac starts normaly up without a problem???
and i replaced the bought memory in the Mac and again no problemms any more ??? can Any body tell me what was happend our had the same problems???
I am realy scared of MACOS X ..........IT SUCKS :-(
