have an old imac indigo (no possibility of saving anything outside the machine as it only has the internal CDROM - the super-drive never worked properly). Anyhow, now I'm the proud owner of an iPOD I'd like to know how to get the iMac to see my iPOD so I can transfer data.
When I plug the IPOD into the indigo (main housing not keypad) a 'USB removable drive ' doesn't appear anywhere. I can see it listed as an attached usb device in the set-up menu but can't see it on my desktop.
It's running OS -9.
any ideas?
