My new Imac won't stay connected to my WGT624 Net Gear Wireless Router. No trouble with my wireless PC, but the Mac "loses" the connection. It starts out with a strong signal (4 bars) and you can watch them fade over an hour's time. Or you can go to one website when you first boot up and then it slows to a crawl and loses the connection.
I have reinstalled all of the software, checked and/or replaced all of the connections. I installed the software from my PC as my IMac won't read their CD (that should have been a clue right there).
The computer is four months old and I had no trouble when I used Airport at another location with a different wireless router.
Suggestions? I have just started telecommuting to work and this outage is costing me money.
