I've got three scanners, one at a different location, and two where I am now situated. All of them worked a matter of days ago. Then all of a sudden when I start Preview or Image Capture I get a message that no scanners are attached. One scanner is an HP wireless scanner; another is connected via USB to the Mac right now. Both appear in the system profiler as printers with scanning support. I deleted and reinstalled one printer, and it didn't help.
Anyone got a clue what the problem might be? I'm running Lion on an iMac that I purchased about 5 months ago.
