My iMac doesn't want to go to sleep after a day working. When I put it to sleep; the light stays green though the harddisk stops and the screen goes black... After a hard reset (can't wake up) 'Sleep' does work... Help!!

It would help if you indicated your system (Puma, Jaguar) and your build.

iMac DV SE 400 MHz; Mac OS X Jaguar 10.2.2; Build 6F21.

It might have to do with your system version. I also had the strangest problems after an update to 10.2.2. When I went back to 10.2.1 everything was fine again. 10.2.3 is supposed to be much better. Perhaps your problems will be gone then...

I also have an Imac SE 400 and it does the same thing :/
It also has trouble waking from sleep and if I try connecting to the internet via modem to aol after waking from sleep more often than not, it says there is no dial tone.
I dont think it is a mac os 10.2.2 problem as I have had this problem since 10.2
10.2.3's coming out soon?
