HI,
I have a G4 iMac, 2nd generation. Was running the regular updates because it has not had internet access for the past 6 months. It was an iTunes and the 10.4.8 update (i think). I hit the restart when prompted and it went through the regular motions but then when starting up, it stuck on the "Grey Apple Screen" and never recovered. No flasing grey bars or spinwheel.
I started up again from the Hardware disk that came with it and everything checked out fine. I went to a couple forums and tried the different key combo restarts, but no luck.
Should I put in the install OSX disks and run that? I dont mind completely erasing because I have most everything backed up, BUT I dont have the Tiger Disk I used to install it with (at this moment, but I can get it back). I would almost prefer to erase everything if I have to start from scratch.
Not sure what to do to get my baby workin again. THANKS!!
