My iMac monitor is not working. I would like to get all information out of the computer onto an external hard drive. How do I do that without being able to see what I'm doing??
just pull the hard drive if you simply want your data, put it in another mac (if you've got one) otherwise, hook it up to a pc and boot it up with a linux livecd so it can read the partitions. just copy everything to your main hard drive on the pc
