my office has about 14 imac g3 350mhz blue and white powerpcs. The os is 9.2.1. I replaced the 7gb hard disk in one of them with a 40gb western digital and after hooking everything up the computer will not boot, just a green led light and nothing else.
Things i have tried:
1. Moved jumper on HD to back and forth from CS to master
2. Tried to reset pram by holding option+apple+p+r several times
3. changed battery
4. removed and replaced ram
5. Unplug the Unit
* Remove the Battery
* Push the CUDA (PMU) Switch (count to 5 slow)
* Push the Start button on the front of the computer (count to 5 slow)
* Let the unit sit for 15-30 minutes
* Replace the Battery
* Plug it back in, and push the start button
6. put old hd back in
nothing does anything at all
please help!!!
