Our G4 iMAC will not come out of sleep mode anymore. IT did so faithfully for 3 years. So now we just shut it down each time we use it. Even more aggravating is that when we start it up, we see a blank white screen, we may have to use the on and off button up to 5 times to get it to boot. After that it works perfectly normally. It originally came with Jaguar, and has been upgraded to Panther. We fixed permissions and ran fsck -f several times. It always says the files were modified. There are several overlapped extent allocation files.
