iMac G5 with 5.1 speakers?

No, this isn't an announcement, but I'm wondering. I just got a iMac G5 2GHZ, 512MB RAM, 20" screen, Superdrive, etc. I'm wondering, I want the new Logitech Z-5450 that have rear wireless speakers but I don't know if they will work on the Mac, can anyone give me an answer?

From what I can see, it should work fine if you connect it using the optical cable. This is a Toslink standard cable with a mini-jack fitting, aka "Mini Toslink". I know that both Belkin and Monster produce this type of cable.

Thanks that's exactly what I was wondering, I see the optical mini-jack in the back and I didn't know how 5.1 could spring from just that one cable, but I'll do some more research on the Mini Toslink from Monster probably. Thanks for the information!
