Hi,
Can anyone advise whether the CR2032 battery that is plugged into the Logic Board of an iMac Mid-2007 (2.4GHz Core 2 Duo) is a likely cause for the machine no longer powering up?
Having confirmed that the power-cable is okay and the fuse hasn't blown at all Apple have advised that the Logic Board (costing $900-$1200 USD approximately) needs replacing.
Your comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.
