Image attachment problem with Mail (not the usual one!) Entire iPhoto library sent??

So, I sent an email to my mother with some pictures attached. I simply selected the images in iPhoto and dragged them into the mail message. Once in the message I clicked each image and selected "medium" for the image size. I send it on feeling like a good son... I get an email back from my mother that said I had sent her hundreds of small pictures!! My entire iPhoto library in fact! So, I try sending another email with one picture attached and this time I attached the picture by clicking the paper clip "add attachment" button. Again. she gets my entire photo library in small form. I have the send windows compatible files box checked and my mother is using Outlook Express.

Please help. I do not want this to happen again to other people... those pictures are private. Luckily nothing bad is in there for good ole mom to see!
 
You have not given the version of iPhoto that you are using. Rather than going back and forth trying to figure out the error that you are making, I suggest that you export the pictures that you want. Then manually drag them to the body of your message. Click send.
