Hi guys,
I have a really basic problem with my IMAP mail account at the moment. I know nothing about exchange or anything like that so I apologise if this is really basic or naive stuff.
When I connect to our Exchange server, loads of other 'public folders' are synced on to my machine. These contain thousands of emails, which I neither want to see locally or indeed access at any time in my life.
When they are syncing down, they clog up my machine massively and Mail.app gets overwhelmed and crashes. This seems to be particularly obvious on Sunday nights (now). Is there some way I can stop some of these folders being loaded on to my machine. Or is something else the problem here?
Cheers, and apologies once again for this probably pretty dumb question.
Andy.
