Anytime I apply a video or photo effect to anything on iMovie, I can see the little red bar going across the file at the bottom like the effect is being applied, but then when it's done, BAM...the file either dissapears into the trash, vanishes completely, or becomes an empty clip (black screen). Anyone seen this before? I even re-installed iMovie from the system disc, and it's still doing it. Every now and then I get lucky and it works, or I can quit iMovie, reopen it, and find the file with the effect applied in the trash, and drag it back into the project. It's not always in the trash though, sometimes it's gone forever. I just upgraded to Leopard, but there's been no change in the way it's acting from Tiger to Leopard. Same deal on both operating systems.
