This has not happened recently. When I want to work on a clip, iMovie HD will suddenly crash. Console reads:
3/19/09 4:40:44 AM com.apple.UserNotificationCenter[2444] UserNotification[2444]: [WSX] Will not load into com.apple.UserNotificationCenter as the hard coded exclude list says no.
3/19/09 4:41:05 AM iMovie HD[2448] Warning once: This application, or a library it uses, is using NSQuickDrawView, which has been deprecated. Apps should cease use of QuickDraw and move to Quartz.

). I still haven't figured out your NSQuickDrawView error but it is probably not causing the crashing.
