iMovie HD Crashes When Opened

Hello All,

I have iMovie HD and whenever i imput a photograph, iMovie decides to crash. When i restart the computer however it behaves fine. I don't understand why it is so pissy all of a sudden, has anyone else had the same problem, thanks
